Q1: What do you explain the meaning of LED?
RE: Light-emitting diodes, usually called LEDs. The light-emitting diode is just a tiny light bulb. But unlike common incandescent light bulbs, light-emitting diodes do not have filaments and are not particularly hot. It simply emits light by the movement of electrons in the semiconductor material. Because the LED will burn out without the filament, the life span is longer. In addition, the small plastic bulb of the light-emitting diode makes the light-emitting diode more durable, and the LED can be more easily suitable for current electronic circuits. The lighting process of traditional incandescent lamps involves generating a lot of heat, which is a complete waste of energy. The light emitting diode emits very little heat. Relatively speaking, the more electric energy directly emits light, the greater the reduction in the demand for electric energy.
It is a form of energy, which can be released by atoms. It is composed of many small bundles of tiny particles with energy and power but no quality. These particles are called photons and are the most basic unit of light. Photons are released because electrons move. In an atom, electrons move in orbits around the atom. Electrons have different energies in different orbital functions. Generally speaking, electrons with greater energy move away from the nucleus in an orbit. When an electron jumps from a lower orbit to a higher orbit, the energy level increases. For visible light LEDs, such as those used in digital display clocks, the size of the gap determines the frequency of photons, in other words the color of light. When all diodes emit light, most of them are not very effective. In ordinary diodes, the semiconductor material itself attracts a large amount of light energy and ends. The light-emitting diode is covered by a plastic bulb to concentrate the light in a specific direction.
